The Ministry of Justice registered the order of the Ministry of Defense, which makes changes to the regulations of military medical commissions. In particular, the order stipulates that those unfit for military service will not be removed from the register and such persons will remain in the register of conscripts. This is stated in the order of the Ministry of Defense No. 686, reports UNN.

Details

According to the order, the terms of conducting medical examinations for VLC, as well as laboratory and instrumental studies, cannot exceed 4 days.

“If it is necessary to send a person to additional laboratory and instrumental tests to obtain complete and objective information about his health, the total period of conducting medical examinations, as well as laboratory and instrumental tests, cannot exceed 14 days,” the order reads. .

Currently, the terms of conducting medical examinations, as well as laboratory and instrumental studies cannot be more than 14 days.

The heads of the VLC at the TCC are now responsible for organizing the work of the commission, checking the correctness of the documents and reporting to the heads of the centers.

Medical examinations will be carried out in communal or state-owned institutions by doctors who cooperate with the National Health Service.

The commissions will include a surgeon, a therapist, a primary care physician, a neurologist, a psychiatrist, an ophthalmologist, an otolaryngologist, a dentist, a dermatovenerologist, and, if necessary, an orthopedic traumatologist and doctors of other specialties.

All results of medical examinations, established diagnoses and decisions of the commissions are entered into the electronic health care system (EHS) using national classifiers of diseases and medical interventions.

The order also regulates deferments to basic military service. In particular, Postponement of referral for basic military service based on health status is granted for a period of up to one year to conscripts who are recognized as temporarily unfit for military service during a medical examination. After the specified period, a repeat medical examination is conducted.

During martial law, conscripts may be granted a postponement of referral for basic military service for a period of up to 2 months due to their health. According to medical indications, it can be extended for 2 months and for the third time – for the same period. After the end of the postponement, a medical examination of conscripts is conducted to resolve the issue of suitability for military service.

Also, it is planned to update the rules for conducting medical examinations before sending conscripts to military units. Before departure, the following must be carried out: a second medical examination; X-ray of chest organs; preventive vaccinations according to the national calendar.

In addition, in the table of disorders of diseases and diagnoses, profile articles are divided into subsections that correspond to new eligibility categories:

suitable for service;

suitable for service in TCC and SP or rear units;

temporarily unfit for review;

unfit for service.

Currently, there is a rule according to which persons unfit for service are excluded from the conscript register, but from now on such people will not be excluded from the register, despite the fact that they are unfit for service.

For example, if a person has congenital malformations of the nervous system, then before that he had the status of “unfit for military service with exclusion from military registration.” However, currently a person with such a disease will simply be unfit for military service.

We will remind

The Ministry of Defense has approved an order establishing a list of diseases that will determine the fitness status of a conscript for military service.
