They sold nearly 3000 fake postgraduate certificates: police say the exposure of the University Rectorate in Zaporozhye

Law enforcement officers declare in Zaporizhzhya the Rectorate of one of the universities, which sold almost three thousand fake certificates of graduate students.

According to the Security Service and the National Police Service, the rector of a private university was exposed in the frontline city, which for bribes designed the assessors for graduate school.

As the investigation established, the rectorate enrolled men of conscript age for full-time education without any entrance exams and further attendance of classes-2966 conscripts used this “scheme”.

“The cost of such a“ design ”was up to $ 5,000 in cash from one person. After submitting postgraduate documents, they additionally paid for the details of the university set for two semesters in the amount of almost 20 thousand hryvnias. Then the organizers of the equipment withdrew funds from the university’s account and distributed among themselves, ”the message reads.

– Part 1, Part 2 of Art. 255 (creation of a criminal organization, management of such an organization and participation in a criminal organization);

– Part 4 of Art. 368-3 (bribery of a legal entity of private law, regardless of organizational and legal form);

– Part 3 of Art. 362 (unauthorized actions with information that is processed in electronic computers (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on the media of such information committed by a person who has the right to access it);

– Art. 336 (evasion of conscription during mobilization, for a special period, for military service for conscription of persons from among reservists in a special period).

The issue of precautionary measures is currently being resolved.
