They demanded a bribe for avoiding a visit to the TCC: two policemen were detained – the State Security Bureau

Two patrol policemen in Odesa demanded money from conscript car drivers for not taking them to the TCC and SP. SBU employees with the assistance of the SBU exposed and arrested the bribe takers.

Details: According to the investigation, two law enforcement officers during patrolling stopped cars, the owners of which were subject to mobilization, and demanded money for not delivering them to one of the territorial assembly centers of Odesa. For their services, they charged from 2,000 dollars, depending on the “capabilities” of the conscript.

Detainees were informed of suspicion of receiving bribes by an official. The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of up to 10 years of imprisonment.
