There were 65 fights on the front since the beginning of the day – the General Staff of the Armed Forces

Since the beginning of the day, 65 combat clashes took place on the front on August 11, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

“The areas of settlements, including Ugroids, boyars, Pokrovka, Marina, Popivka, High, Miropilska Sumy Region, were injured from Russian artillery shelling. Kaliyivka of the Sumy region has suffered an air strike, ”the summary as at 4:00 pm.

More than a third of the fighting is recorded in the Pokrovsky direction in Donetsk region.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian troops tried 23 times to go forward to the positions of our troops in the areas of settlements of Poltavka, priests of ravine, lighthouse, road, new chess, new economic, Sukhetske, Rodinskoye, Promin, Lisovka, Veriv, Nutrikhov, Dachne. Our defenders have already repelled 18 attacks, the fighting is ongoing, ”the message is stated.

The fighting also lasted in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk, South Slobozhansky, Kupyansk, Lymansky, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Novopavlovsky, Orikhiv and Dnieper directions.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region is one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.

As reported on August 9, UK intelligence, in July 2025, the army of the Russian Federation probably seized about 500-550 square kilometers of Ukraine. According to intelligence, Russia continues to acquire the “greatest tactical success” in Donetsk, in particular – to the northeast and southwest of Pokrovsk.
