In Poland, a traffic accident occurred near the city of Brzeg, in which six people, including Ukrainians, died.

Details: It is noted that the accident happened on December 23, near Brzeg – in Zelentsyn. According to the investigation, the cars collided at the intersection of two national roads.

Under currently unknown circumstances, a Ford Kuga and a Volkswagen Passat collided head-on. A 59-year-old local resident of Brzeg was driving the Ford, who died at the scene.

As a result of the collision, the Volkswagen caught fire. The Ford driver and five people in the Passat died at the scene. According to the preliminary information of the prosecutor’s office, the passengers of the Volkswagen could be citizens of Ukraine.

DNA tests will probably be needed to establish their identities. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday. Until the completion of the work of the accident reconstruction expert, the prosecutor’s office refrains from commenting on the causes and course of the accident.
