The large-scale failure of online services in Ukraine on April 26 occurred due to an accident at the date center, there were no cyber-attacks, said De Novo CEO Maxim Ageev. A number of Ukrainian services, including banks and state services like “Acts”, are hooting on the DEVO Cloud DEVO provider.

“Today in the morning at our date center there was an accident, through which the whole building where our datas centers and cloud services were completely disconnected were completely de-established,” Ageev said in a video message.

Problems have arisen when replacing uninterrupted power sources. The whole accident lasted 14 minutes, after which the power was restored, the consequences of the accident were eliminated for several hours. Most of the services have already resumed work.

The causes of the incident, according to Ageev, will still find out. “But I want to officially state that we do not see any signs of any invasion, a hacker attack by Russia, by anyone. There was a combination of technical factors that came together at one point in space and time, ”the CEO said, apologizing for the incident for citizens, state institutions and companies.

Earlier on April 26, Ukraine reported interruptions in the work of terminals, “actions” and “new mail”.
