“In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have carried out 29 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Chervyn Lyman, Rodynske, Novoeconomichne, Myrnograd, Kotline, Udachne, Molodetske, Filia, Dachne. Restraining the enemy’s onslaught, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 27 attacks, the fighting continues,” reads the day’s summary.
Battles also continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynovsky, Oleksandrivsk, Gulyaipilsk, Orihiv and Prydniprovsk directions.
On November 12, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Pokrovsky direction remains the main one in the context of the Russian offensive. The largest number of daily Russian assaults and the concentration of a significant part of the Russian group operating on the territory of Ukraine are recorded there. In particular, the Russian army is trying to take advantage of difficult weather conditions.
In recent days, Russian troops intensified their efforts to enter Pokrovsk in Donetsk region using light vehicles through the southern outskirts, the press service of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on November 11.
