The Speaker of the Parliament of Finland, Jussi Halla-aho, said that the world may already be in the Third World War and that ignoring the facts of the conflict in the world will lead to even greater consequences.

Direct speech: “If we don’t know if we’re at war, it’s always better to assume we are.”
Details: Halla-aho believes that the world may not be aware that World War III has already begun “because we are trying so hard to avoid it.” Halla-aho warned that ignoring the facts would lead to bigger problems.
His comments echoed a statement last Sunday by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, who claimed that “Sweden is not at war. But neither is it at peace.”
Halla-aho argued that protecting and helping Ukraine should be a top political priority. He said that the war in Ukraine should attract more attention in Finnish politics than it does now.
The speaker of the parliament also noted that Finland should define its goal more clearly and then invest in it.
The former chairman of the Party of Finns has a doctorate in Slavic studies and is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, as he worked at the Finnish embassy in Kyiv in the 1990s.
