Jury of the war literature competition 4.5.0. named the winners in four categories. All works were submitted anonymously.
This was announced on the website of the International Renaissance Fund.
Military and veterans could take part in the competition. A total of 271 people applied. The jury did not know the names of the authors, so the works were evaluated based on their artistic value.
The winners of the first competition 4.5.0. became:
- Story category:
First place — Alina Sarnatska;
Second place — Viktor Shepelev;
Valery Puzik took third place.
- Category Poetry:
First place — Pavlo Vyshebaba;
Second place — Valery Puzik;
Third place — Nadiya Garan and Ihor Mitrov.
- Essay Category:
First place — Anton Drobovich;
Second place — Oleksiy Yurchenko;
Third place – Oleg Andros.
- Diaries category:
First place — Artem Popyk;
Second place — Ihor Semak;
Third place — Oleksandr Zhuhan and Yulia Matvienko.
The jury also determined the works of the finalists, which will be included in the printed collection based on the competition. The collection will be published by Stary Lev Publishing House in 2025.
“The organizers and members of the jury noted the extraordinary power of the submitted works. Despite the fact that almost every work deserved to be a winner, and the gap in evaluations was small, the jury was forced to choose only a part of the works as those that won in their nominations or will be included in the printed collection,” the foundation noted.
