The volume of military aid to Ukraine, both already provided by the administration of US President Joe Biden, and that which will be delivered in the near future, should be enough for official Kyiv until the end of 2025.
This was announced on December 17 at a press briefing by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.
“We believe that the resources that we have already provided them and that we continue to provide through the end of the administration’s term will provide them (Ukrainians — ed.) equipment and materials necessary for the fight until the end of 2025,” he said.
At the same time, the spokesperson of the State Department did not specify the percentage of implementation by the US authorities of the large-scale package of military aid to Ukraine, which was approved by the Congress in April 2024.
“As for how much of that has already been taken out and how much is left, that’s obviously a reduction in Pentagon numbers or stockpiles. I would refer you to them to answer this question,” concluded the diplomat.

US military aid to Ukraine at the end of President Biden’s term
On November 8, the Pentagon announced that they plan to use all available funds for Ukraine support programs until the end of Joe Biden’s presidential term. It is about 6 billion dollars.
On November 26, The Washington Post newspaper reported that Biden is trying to strengthen Ukraine’s position before the newly elected leader of the country, Donald Trump, takes office.
On November 27, Biden proposed that Congress approve additional funding in the amount of $24 billion to increase aid to Ukraine.
On the same day, the WSJ reported that the Biden administration does not have enough time to use the billions of dollars that lawmakers allocated for arming Ukraine. According to the publication, the Pentagon has reached the limit that it can transfer to Ukraine every month without harming its own combat capabilities, and is facing “logistical difficulties” in delivering weapons to Ukrainian forces.
On December 2, the United States announced the allocation of a package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 725 million dollars. It covers ammunition for HIMARS MLRS and artillery, unmanned systems, anti-personnel mines, Javelin anti-tank systems and more.
On December 4, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that the United States is ready to fully use the funding for Ukraine in the amount of $61 billion authorized by Congress.
On December 13, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced the allocation of an additional $500 million to Ukraine for defense purposes, in particular in the form of ammunition, missiles and drones.
