Details: The live broadcast of plenary sessions of parliament was terminated in 2022 for security reasons. In January 2025, the broadcasts of the Committees of the Council, but not plenary meetings, were restored.

- On September 9, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk signed a resolution on the restoration of direct broadcasts of the meetings of the Parliament of the TV channel “Rada”.
- On September 4, the People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the Verkhovna Rada had voted for the restoration of broadcasting of parliament meetings since mid -September.
- On September 1, a project of a resolution from a number of people’s deputies on the restoration of broadcasts of the Council appeared on the website of the Parliament, in the “servant of the people” reported that they would support it. The Project of the resolution, in particular, stated that “the direct broadcasting of plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation has not been carried out to ensure security measures. At the same time, the current security situation, given its change, in many cases allows to restore broadcasts without creating additional risks.”
- On July 30, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said that parliamentary sessions are not broadcast in real time “for security reasons” from the beginning of a full -scale war in 2022.
