A US court has sentenced newly elected US President Donald Trump to “unconditional release” after finding him guilty on 34 counts of business fraud.

This is reported by CNN, writes UNN.

Details

Specifically, it says Trump was sentenced to parole after pleading guilty last year to 34 counts of business fraud related to paying Stormy Daniels to remain silent during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump has actively contested the case, using the courts to delay hearings. He was originally scheduled to be sentenced in July, but he appealed to the US Supreme Court to stay the proceedings.

The request was based on a previous court ruling that granted Trump broad immunity from criminal prosecution.

We will remind

The US Supreme Court rejected Trump’s request to delay the verdict in the Stormy Daniels payments case by a vote of five to four. The decision of the New York state court will be announced on Friday.
