On Friday, December 27, Ukraine received 485 million dollars from the USA and the World Bank as part of the Peace in Ukraine project.
This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Telegram.
Of these, 465 million dollars were allocated by the United States through USAID. Another 20 million came from the World Bank, Shmyhal clarified.
According to him, the funds raised will be used to compensate the social and humanitarian costs of the state budget.

The Prime Minister also thanked the partners for their strong support of Ukraine and Ukrainians.
On December 26, the state budget received more than $1.2 billion from the Japanese government under World Bank projects.
Also, in December 2024, the state budget received $220 million as part of the implementation of the program “Transforming healthcare through reform and investment in efficiency“ (THRIVE), aimed at increasing the efficiency of public spending on health care.
