Prehistory:
- On the night of November 19, Russia struck an industrial facility and two residential buildings located on the territory of the “Sonyachny” massif. As a result of the shelling, significant destruction and casualties among the civilians of the city were recorded.
- The Air Force confirmed that apartment buildings in the city of Ternopil were hit by Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles fired from strategic aircraft: 6 Tu-95MS (airport based “Olenya”), 4 Tu-160MS (airports based “Engels” and “Ukrainka”). The regions of the launches are the Vologda and Astrakhan regions of the Russian Federation.
- As of 4:00 p.m., fragments of one of the cruise missiles that hit the nine-story building on November 19 were found and identified. This is the Kh-101 missile, manufactured in the fourth quarter of 2025.
- Later it became known that the death toll from the Russian missile strike in Ternopil had risen to 26.
