What is known about the meeting:
- Note, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi confirmed the day beforethat on Sunday, December 28, he will meet with his American counterpart, Donald Trump.
- In addition, Zelenskyi named the composition of the negotiating group of Ukraine which included: Secretary of the National Security Council Rustem Umyerov, Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Andriy Hnatov, freelance adviser to the head of the President’s Office Oleksandr Bevz, and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia.
- The President of Ukraine also named 5 thematic blockswhich are discussed in the negotiations on the “peace plan” and which he wants to discuss with Trump at the meeting.
- The meeting between the presidents of the USA and Ukraine will take place on December 28 at Trump’s villa in Florida late at night Kyiv time.
