According to their data, at the beginning of the day on January 21, the movement of drones was recorded:
- in the northern part of Kyiv region, the course is west
- from Chernihiv Oblast to Kyiv Oblast
- from Sumy Oblast heading for Chernihiv Oblast and Poltava Oblast
- in the northern and eastern parts of the Poltava region, movement to the south
- in the southern part of Poltava region, the course is southwest
- in the north of Dnipropetrovsk region, course west
- in the central part of the Kirovohrad region, the course is north-west
- in the western part of Cherkasy region, the course is north-west
- on the border of Mykolaiv region and Odesa region, the course is north-west
Earlier, the Air Force reported the movement of drones over Kyiv. The military also warned about the launch of guided aerial bombs by Russian tactical aircraft on Sumy Oblast.
At the moment, an air alert continues in 13 regions of mainland Ukraine.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
