Unified state register of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and public organizations (UDR) resumed work after a large-scale cyber attack by Russia.

“As of today, we can state that the next stage of overcoming the consequences of Russian aggression has passed… On January 9, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations resumed its work,” he said on the air of the national telethon on Thursday.
On December 30, Mykola Kucheryavenko, First Deputy Minister of Justice, stated that the Ministry of Justice is preparing to resume the work of the registers in the near future.

On December 19, the Deputy Prime Minister-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna announced the most extensive cyber attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian state registers in recent times, in particular on the register of acts of civil status of citizens, the state register of legal entities and FOPs, the register of property rights to immovable property .
As the government official said, it will take up to two weeks for the priority restoration of the registers, the leakage of personal data as a result of the attack has not been confirmed.
On December 20, the head of the Center for countering disinformation of the NSDC Andriy Kovalenko announced that a large-scale cyber attack on the state registers of the Ministry of Justice was carried out by Russian hackers connected to the General Directorate of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country Russia (GRU).
Later, Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chornogorenko stated that the registers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are working normally after the cyber attack, but the receipt of postponements from mobilization through the Reserve+ application has been temporarily suspended.
Oleksandr Fedienko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, noted that during the cyber attack, a login to the system through a top-level account was recorded.
According to him, the burglary was well prepared. He suggested that the hacking attack could have been carried out by phishing or by bribing an employee who had access to the registers.
