Senator Rand Paul was the only legislator from the Republican Party that voted together with the Democrats for the resolution.
Senator-Democrat John Fetterman, a hard-working Israel’s supporter, voted against the Republicans.
The resolution was prepared by the democrat senator Tim Kane, who has long advocated the Congress to approve the permission for war.
Direct Kain Language: “I think this week’s events have shown that war is too serious to leave it at the discretion of one person.”
Details: The vote took place less than a week after Trump ordered the assignment of strokes to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
Prehistory:
- Earlier, Trump stated that “no doubt” would order another bombing of Iran’s nuclear objects if he considers it necessary.
- At the same time, Iran called Trump to give up “disrespectful and unacceptable tone” if he wants to reach an agreement.
