And the data of the investigation, the guy had to leave a homemade explosive device (SVP) on the alley, disguised into a backpack. “At this point, the occupiers planned to remove the explosives with their agent remotely. Thus, the Russian intelligence service hoped to achieve two goals: to commit a bloody terrorist attack with a lot of casualties, as well as to eliminate its agent as a “unnecessary witness”, – the message reads. The SBU states that the performer was detained “on hot” when the young man approached the place of the planned terrorist attack. According to the investigation, the schoolboy himself made the SVP according to the instructions from the Russian curator, for masking the explosives he put it in a pan, and to enhance the affected action – additionally made explosives with iron screws. Then, instead of school, the young man left for a taxi to Zhytomyr to prepare a terrorist attack. The SBU says that after receiving the “Report” on arrival at the destination of the Russian Federation had to activate the SVP by calling a mobile phone that was connected to the explosive. Currently, investigators of the Security Service are planning to inform the detainee of the suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 14, Part 2 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (preparation for a terrorist act).

At that time, Ukrainian law enforcement officers detained the Russian agent who planned to lay explosives near the defense forces base in the city.
