The SBU confirms reports of hundreds of wounded North Korean soldiers in Kurshchyna

On December 18, the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed reports by Western media about hundreds of wounded North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region. Referring to the interception of conversations, the Ukrainian special service writes that “over 200 wounded North Korean servicemen were brought to one of the Russian hospitals near Moscow in just a few days.”

“Yesterday there were about 100 people on the train. Today, another 120 are already 200. And how many are there? Only God knows,” said a nurse from one of the hospitals to her husband, who is in a war zone in Ukraine.

Several hundred North Korean soldiers were killed or wounded in the Kursk region, the Associated Press agency reported earlier on December 18 with reference to a high-ranking Pentagon military official. This is the first assessment of the losses of the North Korean contingent fighting on the side of Russia, AP notes.
