Russian troops occupied the village of Trudove, and also advanced near eight more settlements in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.

As noted in the summary of the project, the Russians advanced in Uspenivka, Kurakhovo, as well as near Pishchany, Novoolenivka, Vovkovo, Neskuchnoy, and Vidrodzhenny in Donetsk region and near Zagryzovo in Kharkiv region.
Russian offensive on Pokrovsk – what is known
On October 3, analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Russians had captured new areas near Pokrovsk.
On October 4, the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces suggested that by the end of the year, Ukrainian troops may be forced to leave Pokrovsk.
On the same day, Serhiy Dobryak, the head of the Pokrovskaya OVA, said that the Russians were less than 7 km from the city, in which 13,000 residents still remain.
The Washington Post, citing the Ukrainian military fighting in the Donetsk region, wrote that the illegally obtained Starlink terminals helped Russia capture Vugledar and advance on Pokrovsk.
