The aggressor country Russia struck a residential quarter of the city of Zaporizhia with a ballistic missile, Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA, reported on Monday, October 21.
Updated at 10:40 am. At least five people were injured as a result of the strike on Zaporizhzhia, Fedorov said. A 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman are in serious condition. Three more people are in a moderate condition.
Previously, one person was injured. Nearby houses were damaged by the blast wave.
Later, Fedorov published photos showing destroyed and damaged premises.
Earlier on October 21, there were explosions in Zaporizhzhia. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the threat of using ballistic weapons from the east and Crimea.
On October 19, the Russian occupiers hit the center of Zaporizhzhia with two anti-aircraft missiles. According to the police, ten citizens aged from 9 to 82 were injured. The occupiers’ ammunition was hit near private homes and in open areas in three districts of the region.
