Direct speech of a marine officer: “In the other part of the city (the center, the south – UP), they already have their art, equipment, pilots – whatever you want. The accumulation is serious. In the near future, we expect mechanized assaults from the enemy.
By headquarters – they are moving their headquarters from Novogrodivka to Myrnograd. There is also a commandant’s office (Russian – UP) in Mirnograd, we saw how civilians were taken out with their belongings under the escort of a convoy.
We are retreating, moving, the infantry is trying to hold the exits from Mirnograd. Now our task is not to let them out of the city.”
Details: The defense of the northern part of Mirnograd is made practically impossible by the enemy’s control over the sky – both by aircraft and drones. All western routes and the city have long been in the “grey zone”. There was no order to leave the city.
