Details: According to Moskalkova, the meeting took place with the assistance of the Belarusian side. The negotiations allegedly discussed the reunification of families, visiting prisoners of war and the formation of parcels. The parties allegedly exchanged letters from prisoners for their relatives.

Prehistory:
- On Independence Day, prisoners were exchanged between Ukraine and Russia.
- Among the released: representatives of almost all forces of defense-landing, air, naval, territorial defense, National Guard and State Border Guard Service. They all belong to the ordinary and sergeant.
- Eight civilians liberated the 68th exchange. Most of them have been held captive since 2022.
- Two Ukrainian journalists returned from captivity – Dmitry Khiluk and Mark Kaliysh, who were illegally held by Russian invaders from 2022 and 2023.
- Among the liberated civilians – a physician of the “Hospital” Battalion Sergey Kovalev, who saved the lives of defenders and civilians during the siege of “Azovstal”, as well as former Mayor of Kherson Volodymyr Mykolayenko, who refused to cooperate with the occupiers.
