Details: He said that Russia allegedly “remains fully open to the negotiation process” regarding its unprovoked aggression against Ukraine, and added that US President Donald Trump’s plan could become “a very good basis for negotiations.”
At the same time, Peskov noted that no one had discussed the previous plan with the Russian side.
“Subjectively, this plan was not prepared, was not discussed. Indeed, this is a draft of the American side that was handed over to us. This plan was drawn up, including based on the understandings that were reached in Anchorage, and it largely corresponds to the spirit of Anchorage,” Peskov said.
He also added that “the text that was unofficially with us earlier has already undergone changes.”
“At some point, the time will probably come when our contacts with the Americans will also be made, and we will officially receive some information. So far, we have no innovations in this regard,” Peskov concluded.

- On November 23, Great Britain, Germany and France prepared counter-proposals to the draft American “peace plan” with 28 points, designed to make them more beneficial for Ukraine.
