The command of the Armed Forces also announced the following Russian losses in military equipment:
- 11550 tanks (+6 units in the past day)
- 23902 armored personnel carriers (+3)
- 36098 artillery systems (+74)
- 1603 rocket launchers (+3)
- 1275 air defense equipment (+5)
- 434 planes
- 347 helicopters
- 106428 operational-tactical UAVs (+1074)
- 4163 cruise missiles (+8)
- 28 ships and boats, 2 submarines
- 74119 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (+232)
- 4042 units of special equipment
Russia does not officially disclose its losses. Moscow last reported the number of people killed in September 2022, when 5,937 people died.
On December 2, British intelligence analyzed data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian losses in the war. An office at the British Ministry of Defense indicated that Russia is likely to have lost 382,000 soldiers killed and wounded since the beginning of 2025, with total losses during a full-scale invasion reaching 1.168 million.
“Russia’s average daily losses during November 2025 reached 1,033, according to the General Staff of Ukraine – more than 1,008 in October 2024, the third increase in a month in a row,” the summary says.
Kyiv also did not announce the losses for a long time, saying that the data would be disclosed after the war. At the same time, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in an interview with NBC News at the beginning of 2025, stated that since February 2022, Ukraine has lost more than 46,000 soldiers killed and about 380,000 wounded in the war.
