The resident of Sevastopol Dmitry Miskov was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment on charges of cooperation with Ukrainian special services, reports Radio Liberty Crimea Project. Russian charges demanded for him 20 years of colony.

According to the report of the Russian prosecutor’s office, the Sevastopol City Court, controlled by Russia, found a 45-year-old man guilty of the State Trease. Russian security forces claim that from July to September 2024 allegedly transferred a photo of the places of placement of ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian side. They also claim that the man passed the SBU video of dislocation and moving helicopters of Russian troops.

It is impossible to check the accuracy of the statements of Russian security forces in hostilities.

There is no public comment or the position of defense of Myskov. Ukrainian military and officials did not comment on this sentence.

According to the human rights organization “Crimean”, in 2024, at least 56 Crimeans were persecuted by the Russian authorities. The reasons for criminal cases were accusations of alleged relations with the prohibited organizations in the Russian Federation, state treason, espionage, public utterances, organizing sabotage or calls for violence.
