“Not a single ship or submarine of the Black Sea Fleet stationed in the bay of the Novorossiysk Naval Base, as well as their crews, were not damaged as a result of the sabotage and are serving as normal,” said the head of the press service of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Oleksiy Rulev.
Earlier today, the Security Service of Ukraine announced that a Russian submarine was hit as a result of a special operation in the port of Novorossiysk.
“For the first time in history, the Sub Sea Baby underwater drones blew up the Russian submarine of the 636.3 class “Varshavyanka” (according to the NATO classification – Kilo). As a result of the explosion, the submarine was critically damaged and, in fact, disabled. On board the submarine were placed four Kalibr cruise missile launchers, which the enemy uses for strikes on the territory of Ukraine,” the report says.

So far, among the losses of Russian military equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine pointed out one submarine: in August 2024, the Ukrainian military reported that it had hit the Rostov-on-Don submarine of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the port of Sevastopol.
After the start of a full-scale invasion of Russia, various objects on the territory of the Russian Federation are subjected to airstrikes.
Most of the attacks were confirmed by Ukrainian forces, in particular the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stating that the Defense Forces of Ukraine “systematically implement measures aimed at reducing the combat potential of the Russian occupation forces, as well as forcing the Russian Federation to stop armed aggression against Ukraine.”
