Sizikov has a complete blindness that is included in the list of diseases that prevent detention.
On July 7, 2020, seven people were detained in the Crimea during mass searches: Ibrahimov, Zekira Muratov, Vadim Beetemirov, Emil Ziadinov, Alim Sufyanov, Seyran Hayredinov were arrested in the courtroom and placed in the court. Oleksandr Sizikov, who has disabilities of the group I visually, was sent to house arrest. All detainees were accused of involvement in the religious organization “Hizb Ut-Tahrir”, which is legal in Ukraine but is banned in Russia.
In May 2023, Sizikova was sentenced to 17 years in prison with the first four years in prison. On September 13, 2024, the Court of Appeal of the Russian Federation left the Crimean’s verdict.
