The investigation claims that in February 2022 Shulga joined a group allegedly created by Ukrainian special services. In June of the same year, she, according to the FSB, took away a homemade explosive device from the hiding place, which was replaced with a model.
After Shulga secured it on the support of the power line, which supplied 10 thousand people with electricity, it was detained. The court qualified its actions as participation in a sabotage group, an attempt on sabotage and illegal storage of weapons.
Mayor of Energodar Dmitry Orlov reported that Shulga had worked at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. He also stated that the accusations against it were based on a staging video, shot by Russian special services.
At the end of 2024, the Human Rights Project “The First President” reported that after the start of a full -scale war in Ukraine, 792 criminal cases related to the state community, espionage and cooperation with foreign countries were initiated in Russia.
