Details: According to the survey, after the 2019 presidential and parliamentary elections, 80% of Ukrainians expressed confidence in Volodymyr Zelenskyi. However, by February 2022, this indicator gradually decreased to 37%, and at the time of the attack, the majority of Ukrainians no longer trusted him.

With the start of a full-scale invasion, the confidence level skyrocketed to 90%. It dropped to 77% by the end of December 2023, to 64% in February 2024, and to 59% by May of the same year.

According to sociologists, in the period from May to September 2024, the level of trust has practically not changed: currently 59% of Ukrainians continue to trust Volodymyr Zelenskyi, while 37% express distrust.

For reference: The KMIS survey was conducted from September 20 to October 3, 2024. 2,004 respondents were interviewed in all regions controlled by Ukraine.

Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.3) did not exceed 2.9% for indicators close to 50%, 2.5% for indicators close to 25%, 1.7% – for indicators close to 10%, 1.3% – for indicators close to 5%.
