- On the morning of January 14, UP interlocutors in political circles reported that the anti-corruption authorities had announced suspicion to the head of the “Batkivshchyna” faction.
- In the recordings made public by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Yulia Tymoshenko is allegedly discussing the system of payment for specific votes in the Verkhovna Rada with an unknown deputy.
- Tymoshenko herself called the searches a “grandiose PR move”, said that they were “wiping out competitors before the elections”. The politician claims that anti-corruption officers “did not find anything”, so they simply took away her “work phones, parliamentary documents and personal savings, information about which is fully reflected in the official declaration”. The politician also claims that it is not her on the recordings made public by anti-corruption agents.
