The Ukrainian State Project of the Coordination Headquarters on the Defense of Prisoners of Pursuing “I want to live” published the names of 628 Tajikistan citizens, who within six months of 2025 signed contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry to participate in a full -scale war against Ukraine.

In April, the project published a list of 931 Tajikistan, previously published for the war.

It is claimed that at least 196 of them were killed.

In “I want to live” it is noted that Russia increases the recruitment of Tajikistan citizens.

The Tajikistan authorities did not officially comment on the project information.

In May 2025, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Basrykin, stated that the security forces were “caught” and sent to the war against Ukraine 20,000 migrants who received the Russian passport.

“We have not caught 80,000 such citizens of Russia who are not for the forefront – they do not want to go to the military enlistment office,” Bastkin said. – And already 20 thousand “young” citizens of Russia, who for some reason do not like to live in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, are on the front. ”

The project “I want to live”, in particular, helps to take prisoners of war from Russia, who are fighting on its side, foreign citizens and mobilized on the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russian troops.
