Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has prepared her home due to her fears of a cyber attack from Russia. In particular, the politician stocked up on canned goods, water and old radios, he writes UNN with reference to Alt om Kendte.

Details

In the DR “Stars and Stripes” podcast, Mette Frederiksen said that she equipped her house with everything necessary in case of Russian attacks.

She has prepared for situations if, for example, Denmark suddenly runs out of electricity, internet, or runs out of food.

However, the Prime Minister does not consider such preparation to be paranoia.

“When today the authorities recommend that you have water, an old-fashioned radio receiver and batteries for it, and, for example, mackerel in a tomato or some other ‘good’ canned food, it is only because other situations may arise,” explained Mette Frederiksen.

Although the Prime Minister does not expect enemy troops to march across the Öresund Bridge or the German border in the near future, she believes that Russian cyberattacks and other destabilizing factors are realistic scenarios.

She also noted that we all live in a period of digital warfare. Therefore, Frederiksen recommended that Danes take seriously the recommendations of the National Emergency Management Agency of Denmark.

Mette Frederiksen admits that her preparation for the concert is more of an obligation than a desire – but she made it clear that it is not about fearing the worst, but about being ready for everything.

We will remind

In early December, NATO Foreign Ministers agreed on a package of measures to counter cyber threats from the Russian Federation. Measures include intelligence sharing, additional training and increased protection of critical infrastructure.
