“We see anxious threats from extremist parties that seek to polarize our societies through misinformation. There is no evidence that they have answers. But there is a lot of evidence that many of them are supported by our enemies and their puppets in Russia or somewhere,” Von Liaen said.
She emphasized that these are the movements fueled by the theories of conspiracy: “from anti -vaccine to Putin apologists.”
“All you have to do is look at some of the signatories of this resolution to understand what I mean,” the European Commission President explained.
Von Der Liaan stressed that it would not allow the plans of these political forces to be realized.
“Another rude attempt to kill a wedge between our institutions, between the pro -European, promocratic forces of this Parliament, and we can never allow it to happen. We will never accept it,” she said.
“We can follow the lord of the pair of conspiracies and the alleged ominous intrigues that he attributes to the so -called Brussels. Or we can clearly name things by our names,” Ursula Der Lyen added.
As reported by “European Pravda”, on July 7 in Strasbourg the European Parliament considers the vote of distrust of the European Commission. And on Thursday, July 10, a corresponding vote about distrust of the President of Ursula von Der Lyen and all the current composition of the European Commission.
The initiative on the vote of distrust of the European Commission belongs to the MEPEPUTATES George Peprove from the Romanian far -right AUR party. She collected almost 80 signatures and overcome procedural obstacles.
At the same time, as the “European Pravda” has already reported, voting is unlikely to resign the head of the European Commission: there is no sufficient support for the vote among the MEP.
