Details: According to Duda’s representative, he injured his right hand “in private time”, and not while performing the duties of the head of state.
“A small operation was required,” he said.
Kolarsky, however, did not want to talk about the details of the wounding, because, as he emphasized, “it happened in private time, during household chores.”
At the beginning of October, Andrzej Duda appeared in public with a bandage applied to two fingers of his right hand, and in recent days numerous Polish media drew attention to the fact that the middle finger of Duda’s hand is swollen and seems shorter than the others.
Some publications claimed that the president could have injured himself during repairs in his new apartment, because he likes to work with his hands.
We will remind: From time to time it becomes known about the injuries of the leaders of other states.
For example, at the end of September, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevičs shared a photo with his right hand plastered on social networks.
And the President of Austria, Alexander van der Bellen, recently underwent spinal surgery.
