In the communities of Izyum and Balaklia in the Kharkiv region, the light went out after the Russian strikes, the city’s military administration reported on the evening of November 16.
“The light went out in the entire territory of the community. We keep calm. The explosions continue. Be safe,” said the Izyum MBA, warning of the threat of the Shaheds.
“Dear residents of the Balakliya community, we inform you that currently the entire territory of the community is completely without power,” the message of the Balakliya MBA says.
Since the beginning of autumn, the Russian military has intensified its attacks on the Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure, which supplies people with gas during the heating season. Electricity blackout schedules are in effect in Ukraine.
