With the report, investigators, criminalists, operatives and a forensic medical expert worked at the scene. They conducted primary investigative actions, analyzed video from surveillance cameras and interviewed witnesses.
According to preliminary conclusions, at the time of the incident, the entrance door to the apartment was closed and had no signs of a break-in, and the deceased was holding a knife, which probably caused the injuries. Interviewed residents of the house reported that they did not hear any noise or sounds of struggle.

“It was also established that the deceased had depression disorders for a long time, which was reflected in his behavior. The night before, the man had another nervous breakdown, and in the morning his mother found him without signs of life and informed the police,” the report says.
The police have opened criminal proceedings under the article on intentional murder marked “suicide”. The man’s body was sent for forensic examination and determination of the final cause of death.
The press service of the department notes that the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, the media reported that Kadenyuk’s son Dmytro had died in Kyiv. His mother found him in their apartment on the morning of December 10 with stab wounds. The police then confirmed the death of the man, without naming him, but did not immediately report the qualification of the event.
