The police announced a search for a suspect in the attack on a TCC car in the Lviv region

On January 21, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region announced the search for a suspect in the attack with a traumatic gun on a military vehicle of the territorial assembly center last week.

The case is classified under the article on hooliganism. The police clarifies that the investigators informed the man about the suspicion in absentia.

“During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that on January 14 at around 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Lesya Ukrainka and Nebesnaya Sotna streets in the village of Rudno, the wanted man, being in the passenger compartment of a Volkswagen Passat, fired several shots from a traumatic weapon, hitting the Volkswagen T6 minibus of the RTCC and SP military personnel who were conducting alert measures, and drove away from the scene,” the message says.

In the case of a guilty verdict, the sanction of the article provides from three to seven years of imprisonment.

On the morning of January 14, in the village of Rudno near Lviv, the driver of a Volkswagen Passat fired several shots at a minibus of military personnel of the RTCC and SP, who were carrying out warning measures. No one was injured, the driver who fired the shot fled the scene.

After the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced. It is carried out by territorial centers of recruitment and social support.
