The owner dismantles the “Panoramic Ferris wheel” attraction on Podil in Kyiv at his own expense.

Details: The Department stated that they had repeatedly issued an order to dismantle the attraction, in particular, the last one was on December 22. In addition, employees of the improvement inspection drew up an administrative report on the owners of the attraction.

- In p‘It became known on Friday that the Podilsk District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv appealed to the court with a request to arrest the Ferris Wheel in Podil and prohibit its further operation. The reason was the detection of violations of safety rules during the use of the attraction.
- The inspection established that the supporting metal structure of the attraction is installed on wooden beams, which are in an unsatisfactory technical condition.
- “In particular, the deep rotting of the wood, the destruction of its structure, the presence of cavities, as well as traces of prolonged exposure to moisture were recorded. Some of the beams are partially destroyed and crumble even under minor mechanical stress. According to experts, this condition of the supporting elements poses a real threat to the life and health of visitors to the attraction,” the prosecutor’s office reported.
