It is reported by the prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, Ukrinform reports.

“Another occupation official from the Crimea has been convicted of public prosecutor’s office in absentia. It was found guilty of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and was sentenced to 6 years in prison with imprisonment authorities and local self -government for a term of 10 years and confiscation of property, ” – the message reads.

As reported by Ukrinform a source in law enforcement agencies, the sentenced named Mikhail Kateryna Viktorovna.

It is noted that prosecutors in court proved that the citizen of Ukraine voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupying authorities and occupied a leading position in the “local self -government bodies” of the Crimean peninsula.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of August 2024, 475 criminal cases against collaborators from Crimea were initiated in Ukraine.
