Russian troops set a new record for a week’s advance since the beginning of 2022, capturing about 235 square kilometers of the territory of Ukraine.

The publication emphasizes that the pace of the offensive of Russian troops has reached the highest indicators since the first days of a full-scale invasion in 2022. Then they captured significant territories, but were later pushed back to the eastern and southern regions. The front line remained practically unchanged for two years, until the start of active hostilities in the summer of 2024.
