The minister reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has damaged or destroyed more than 1,680 monuments of cultural heritage and thousands of objects of cultural infrastructure of Ukraine.
“This is a deliberate destruction of culture and memory, which requires a consolidated response from the international community. In particular, due to the strengthening of sanctions against Russia and the provision of additional air defense equipment to Ukraine,” she emphasized.
The Air Force previously stated that Russia attacked Ukraine with more than half a thousand missiles and drones, there were hits in 27 locations, and the main directions of the attack were Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Vinnytsia region, and Odesa region.
The attack, the target of which, in particular, was the energy infrastructure, took place against the background of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States and Russia in Abu Dhabi, aimed at ending the war, scheduled for February 4 and 5.
