  • The border checkpoint on the border with Turkey is Bazorgan/Serow.

“In the event of a change in the situation or the opening of additional exit routes from the country, the information will be updated promptly,” the message says.

In emergency situations, Ukrainians should contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Iran (hotline: +98 9128 436 681, email: [emailprotected]”) or to the 24-hour hotline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine: +38 044 238 1588, e-mail address [emailprotected].

We will remind: Mass protests have been ongoing in Iran since December 28. Initially, due to the collapse of the national currency and huge inflation, the traders at the Grand Bazaar in Tehran staged a strike. Then the protests covered almost the entire country. After 10 days, two cities in the west of Iran came under the control of the protesters. The state news agencies do not recognize the capture of these cities, claiming that the police dispersed the demonstrators. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei admitted that there are economic problems, but explained them as “the work of the enemy”. He also stated that “it’s useless to talk with rioters” and they “need to be put in their place.”
