The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Ukrainians to leave Israel and Iran, embassies form evacuation lists

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that the citizens of Ukraine leave Israel and Iran as soon as possible because of the “significant deterioration of the security situation” in the Middle East.

“All citizens of Ukraine who are in the territory of these countries, we urge to keep vigilance, carefully monitor the reports of the competent authorities of the residence countries, do not ignore air alarm signals and follow the shelter, follow the safety measures, always have with them documents certifying the identity. The Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Islamic Republic of Iran form evacuation lists and develop options for evacuation of citizens, ” – said in a message published on June 17.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that information about possible evacuation routes is posted on the information resources of the embassies.

This statement was heard against the backdrop of the Air Force on the territory of Iran, which Israel began on June 13, attacking nuclear, military and energy facilities. In response, Iran struck in Israel using missiles and drones.

Israel stated that he had carried out these attacks so that Iran is not developed. During the first unexpected blow, military commanders and nuclear scientists were killed on June 13. Since then, the Ministry of Health of Iran has declared 224 dead. The Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpur said that more than 90 percent of the victims were civilians. According to the Israeli side, 23 people were killed as a result of Iranian attacks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported about five fallen Ukrainians in Israeli Bat-Yami.

On June 13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine advised citizens to refrain from traveling to Israel, Iran, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria to stabilize the situation in the Middle East.
