Details: In one of the two captured North Korean soldiers, about whom President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the Security Service of Ukraine reported on Saturday, a military ID in the name of Tyva resident Antonin Aranchyn, who was born in October 1998, was found. The document indicates his place of birth (the city of Turan in Tyva) and his civil specialty (tailor). There is no photo, date and signature of the owner in the military ticket.

The Agency’s analysis showed that the data of a real citizen of Russia was used to create a fake identity.

The publication found in the sources a resident of Tyva with the same last name, first name, patronymic and date of birth. Only one person lives in Russia with such data. The only difference in her personal data is the place of birth: the city of Turan is indicated in the military ticket, and the village of Erzin (also located in Tyva) is indicated in Aranchyna’s passport.

It was not possible to find any connection between Aranchyn and the tailoring business in the sources. In 2020, he worked at Tech-Khem Forestry (position not specified). In 2023, in an application for a microloan, he indicated that he works as a security guard in a deli, and in other applications of the same year – that he is a pensioner. Judging by the sources, he was repeatedly refused microloans after assessing his solvency.

The last application for a microloan (7 thousand rubles), which was left by Aranchyn and which got into the sources, is dated February 24, 2024.

The “Agency” was unable to call Aranchyn on the phones indicated in the leaks. It was also not possible to call his sister, who lives in Tiwa. Neither he nor his sister visited the VK pages that “Agency” managed to find for more than 10 years.

What preceded: On January 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the Security Service of Ukraine announced that Ukrainian soldiers captured two soldiers from North Korea in Kurshchyna.

Soldiers of the SSO showed a video of how they captured and transported a North Korean soldier from Russia. Another Korean fighter was shown by the DSHV.
