The men’s and women’s team of chess continue performances at the European Championships 2025, which takes place in the Georgian Batum.

The fourth day of the tournament seemed successful for both “blue and yellow” teams. Men beat Germany, women parted peace with France, reports Federation of Chess of Ukraine.

The Germans had # 1 sowing before the tournament, so this victory is crucial. Ruslan Ponomarev, Anton Korobov and Igor Samunenkov made their matches to a draw, and Andrei Volokitin won, which brought a general triumph.

In women, Inna Gaponenko lost her match, but Anna Ushenina leveled the score with success. Yulia Osmak and Natalia Zhukov played a draw.
