Details: During the night, residents of Voronezh reported a series of explosions in the city. The governor of the region, Oleksandr Gusev, announced a missile threat, and reports of a fire at the thermal power plant appeared in local chat rooms.

The moment of the attack was caught on video by an eyewitness, which was made public by the Ukrainian project Exilenova+.
Astra journalists geolocated the footage and established that the shooting location is located approximately 1.3 kilometers from Voronezh CHP-1. According to their analysis, this particular station was probably the target of the strike.
Voronezh CHP-1 belongs to the RIR Energo joint-stock company. According to data from open sources, the installed electrical capacity of the station is 378.3 megawatts, thermal capacity is 1389.3 gigacalories per hour. About 430 people work at the enterprise.
It is the largest supplier of heat energy in Voronezh – the CHP provides heat to four districts of the city and more than a thousand enterprises.
At the time of publication, local authorities have not confirmed the fact of the attack or damage to the energy facility.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that during the night the Russian air defense system allegedly shot down 43 BpLA over the territory of Bryansk region, 1 over Rostov region.
In its report, the Russian agency did not mention the missile attack on the Voronezh thermal power plant. The consequences of the attack are unknown at the time of publication.
