Regarding the circumstances of the investigative actions, Gudyma said that on January 27, the suspect of the attempted murder in the territory of the Korsun district last year saw the police and began to hide.
“He put on a bulletproof vest, took an automatic weapon with him and fled from the place of residence to a forest plantation. During the arrest measures, he fired from an automatic weapon from an ambush in the direction of the policemen, as a result of which four law enforcement officers were killed, the fifth was wounded. He is currently being operated on,” the police officer added.
