Pohorily’s direct speech: “Some predicted that Pokrovsk would fall before the New Year. However, today we see that the northern outskirts of both cities – Pokrovsk and Mirnograd – remain in battle under the control of the Defense Forces.”
Details: According to Pohorily, the Russians are currently deploying the largest amount of their resources in this region — “a group of over 100,000 that cannot cope with these cities and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.”
“If we talk about the further development of events, then when the relevant settlements fall, and they (Russian troops – ed.) sooner or later capture them, since the Russians have a significant potential for this, they will move deep into the Donetsk region,” – noted the co-founder of DeepState.
He added that the enemy’s goal will then be Ukrainian logistics, in order to prevent them from advancing to the next cities, where the main battle for the Donetsk region will take place. According to analysts, this battle will take place in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
At the same time, the speakers emphasized that the Russians are currently probing Ukrainian defenses: “attempts are already underway, during which they identify our weak points.”
“We predict at least two years of fighting, during which they will lose a colossal amount of personnel, equipment and other resources,” experts summarized.
